Here’s a great pair of articles published recently at ComputerWorld on some of the disconnects between the IT department and the rest of the organization they work for. There is great potential for IT to be at the forefront or at least significantly involved in the strategic vision of the business if both sides could learn to speak the other’s language and understand what motivates the other.
